Stunning Hollywood insiders, "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" took in a whopping $54.7 million in its opening weekend, managing to outgross the entire $53.9 million domestic earnings of the original. In fact its opening is the third biggest of all time, and second biggest of the year - just $10 million shy of the opening weekend for "Star Wars: Episode 1".
